SECRETARY'S MESSAGE

DEAR ALL ASPIRANTS, I welcome you all to the arena of MAHATMA GANDHI RASHTRIYA COMPUTER SAKSHARTA MISSION (MGRCSM) as a FACILITATOR to upgrade your existing qualification. MGRCSM is purely a Private Autonomous Computer Education and Training Council where students get the opportunity of flexibility, reasonable access and freedom of Computer and Technical Education. It is purely a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) motivated by its mission to create a better world through Education, skill Development and training. I strongly believe that in the context of the present scenario, even a well educated person without Computer Literacy is virtually an illiterate person. It’s wonderful in India that almost all the well educated persons have been complying with the latest trends of using IT in their day-to-day life activities and experiments.

All the courses of MGRCSM are the same standards as the courses of other National / State level Councils/ Organizations. MGRCSM develops its own Syllabus, Study Materials taking the help of teachers /experts from various institutions / organizations.

In the interest of students, MGRCSM has introduced On-line admission throughout the year (24 × 7) to facilitate the registration process with this Council. With this option, the students can get the chance to admit themselves (a) registering with this Council directly through Online; (b) visiting the nearest Authorized Study Centre and taking their help for Online registration; (c) visiting the nearest Regional Office and taking their help for Online registration.

MGRCSM offers various Certificate / Diploma / Advance Diploma / PG Diploma Courses all over India. MGRCSM Council of Education and training conducts examinations in four sessions in one academic year i.e. in March, June, September and December. I dream of an India which is 100% IT & Computer Literate, where everyone is employed and there is absolutely no poverty. Our Organization is working dedicatedly to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “ SKILL INDIA & DIGITAL INDIA” dream come true .

In this respect I am excerpting here some parts of our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the Nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the 68th Independence Day in an hour-long extempore speech.

"My brothers and sisters, it is a country of young people. The 65 percent population of the country happens to be under the age of 35 years. Our country has the largest number of youths in the world. Have we ever thought of deriving an advantage out of it? Today, the world needs a skilled workforce. Today, India also needs a skilled workforce. At times, we look for a good driver but he is not available, we look for a plumber, but he is not available. If we need a good cook, he is not available. We have young people, they are unemployed but the kind of young people we seek for are not available. If we have to promote the development of our country then our mission has to be "skill development" and "skilled India". ---------The real identity of India had not reached the world, but my dear brothers and sisters, our youngsters, 20-22-23 years old youngsters have mesmerized the whole world with their skills in computers. Our young IT professionals have given a new path of making a new identity of India. If our country has this strength, can we think something about the country? Our dream is, therefore, of "Digital India". When I talk of "Digital India", I don't speak of the elite, it is for the poor people. " - PM NARENDRA MODI

With the launching of “Digital India” initiative by the Government of India, the role of MGRCSM is likely to grow substantially in the near future as the demand for IT education and services is expected to rise rapidly.

Once again, I welcome you to the learning environments and ambience of THE MAHATMA GANDHI RASHTRIYA COMPUTER SAKSHARTA MISSION (MGRCSM) with the hope that the learning will be meaningful and rewarding for you in this Computer Education Council.
